Our Values

At Goodlands, we believe great flavor starts with strong roots - in community, the seasons, and how we care for the land & each other. As a woman- and LGBTQ+ owned business, we’re proud to craft small batch sauces with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced thoughtfully & with purpose. We prioritize local farms & sustainable practices because how we make our sauces matters just as much as how they taste.

Seasonal, Small Batch, & Sustainable

We craft our sauces in sync with the seasons because the freshest ingredients make the best flavor. For our self-stable essentials like vinegar, maple sugar, and spices, we source from trusted Pennsylvania producers and our partner Diaspora Co. From how we source to how we bottle, we’re also always working to reduce food waste without compromising flavor.

Organic Ingredients

We use organic ingredients whenever possible, especially when it comes to pantry staples and fresh produce. Because we work with small farms, organic certification isn’t always feasible, but our focus is always on quality, local sourcing, and sustainability first.

Woman & LGBTQ+ Owned

Goodlands is proudly built on the values of inclusion, equity, and self-expression - in and out of the kitchen. From the farmers we source from to the stories we tell, we believe in building a more equitable food system where everyone has a seat at the table. For us, making hot sauce is about more than flavor - it’s about community, inclusivity, and showing up with pride.
